Section 160
Delegation of authority
(1) The authority may delegate its powers to other committees or sub-committees constituted by the chairman, members and committees in accordance with this Act or the rules made under this Act. But the following rights shall not be delegated:-
(a) Granting prior approval for establishment of insurance companies,
(b) Licensing of insurers,
(c) Prohibition on Insurance Business,
(d) revocation of license of insurer,
(e) Forming a special management group in accordance with section 103,
(f) issuing regulations or directives. (2) The Chairman may delegate the authority granted by this Act to other authorized employees of the Authority to conduct the work of the Authority in a smooth manner.
